Former President and NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has expressed confidence in addressing Ghana’s escalating food prices and economic challenges.
In a post on X on September 22, Mahama blamed poor economic management by the current government for the rising cost of food and basic goods.
He assured Ghanaians that his experience as a former president equips him to reverse the situation by boosting agricultural productivity, providing affordable inputs to farmers, and stabilizing food markets.
Mahama urged support for the NDC in the 2024 elections, promising reforms to reduce living costs and create sustainable jobs for the youth.
