I’ll not empower Fulanis to destroy farmlands – Bawumia

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, has rejected claims that his presidency would allow Fulani herdsmen to destroy farmlands.

He accused the NDC of spreading propaganda, claiming that voting for him would foster lawlessness among the Fulani, his in-laws.

While campaigning in Ejura Sekyedumase on November 13, 2024, Bawumia assured that under his leadership, the law would be applied fairly to all citizens.

He emphasized that any unlawful activity, including damage to farmlands, would be dealt with severely and perpetrators would be arrested.

He urged constituents not to believe the propaganda and promised development under his leadership.
