I'm not campaign manager for Dominic Eduah - A Plus

Outspoken member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus has denied stories circulating on social media that he has been appointed by the NPP Deputy National Youth Organiser as his campaign manager.

"Yes I am supporting Dominic Eduah's bid to become the next NPP National Youth Organizer because he is hardworking, dedicated, humble and incorruptible but I have not been given that position and I'm not interested in it," he noted.

A Plus further alleged that one Nana Prempeh Okogyeabour, a leading member of Henry Nana Boakye campaign team, called on him (A Plus), influencing him with money, to declare his support for Nana Boakye alias Nana B.

This, the controversial singer said, was in a bid for him to openly declare his unflinching support for Dominic to become the next NPP National Youth Organiser but he declined the offer because he is “incorruptible”.

"I was called on phone by Nana Prempeh Okogyeabour - a leading member of Henry Nana Boakye's campaign team and as it were to discuss Nana B's preparedness to pay me any amount should I help in pushing Nana B's bid to become the next Youth Organiser for NPP.

I declined the offer because my conscience would have judged me wrongly. I dare Nana Prempeh Okogyeabour to come out and deny my claims

"Just as I dedicated myself to the course of making NPP Victorious in the 2016 elections without taking a penny from anybody, so have I dedicated myself to the course of helping Dominic Eduah to win the National Youth Organizer contest", he revealed.

GhanaWeb can confirm that Dominic Eduah will contest as the National Youth Organiser for the NPP in the upcoming National Executives election in June, 2018 to which the ‘Aben Be Bom’ singer referred to him as “selfless and truthful”.

"Prior to the 2016 elections, I had the opportunity to work with many of the NPP bigwigs especially those in the National Youth Wing. I must tell you that Dominic Eduah's mobilization ability is a gift from God."

He also added, "Dominic Eduah is the competent person to lead the NPP Youth Wing. I will entreat members of the National Youth Wing, various Constituency Youth Organizers and Tescon Presidents not to allow themselves to be deceived by the whimsical humility attitude which some people are putting up just to win votes".

My attention has been drawn to series of write-ups circulating on various social media platforms claiming that I am Dominic Eduah's campaign manager.

I have not been given that position and I'm not interested in it.

Yes I am supporting Dominic Eduah's bid to become the next NPP National Youth Organizer because he is hardworking, dedicated, humble and incorruptible.

Prior to the 2016 elections, I had the opportunity to work with many of the NPP bigwigs especially those in the National Youth Wing.

I must tell you that Dominic Eduah's mobilization ability is a gift from God. He is selfless and truthful.

Just as I am supporting competent aspirants in the party such as John Boadu and Sammy Awuku, I will have no excuse to exempt myself from Dominic Eduah's campaign team if he asks me to.

President Akufo-Addo is an incorruptible leader hence all his followers must be emulate him.

The future of NPP largely depends on who becomes the National Youth Organiser of NPP.

I know perfectly that President Akufo-Addo led NPP government will be able to realize its dreams for Ghanaians only if he has the mandate to govern for long. For this reason, I will never accept any offer that seeks to achieve individual interest.

Just as I dedicated myself to the course of making NPP Victorious in the 2016 elections without taking a penny from anybody, so have I dedicated myself to the course of helping Dominic Eduah to win the National Youth Organizer contest.

NPP is the governing party hence the party does not need a noise maker to lead its youth wing.

What the party needs is a strategic mobilizer, a humble, respectful, selfless and a hardworking youth leader who will tour the length and breath of the nation to mobilize the youth towards sustaining the victory we toiled for in 2016.

Dominic Eduah is the competent person to lead the NPP Youth Wing.

I will entreat members of the National Youth Wing, various Constituency Youth Organizers and Tescon Presidents not to allow themselves to be deceived by the whimsical humility attitude which some people are putting up just to win votes.

Remember, "elections are won at the polling stations"
