I never went through JHS – Prof Gyampo

Professor Ransford Gyampo, a Political Science lecturer at the University of Ghana, revealed that he skipped Junior High School (JHS) due to his excellent performance in Class 6.

His teacher, Mr. Sam Gilbert, promoted him to Secondary School, Form 1, in 1988. Despite being bullied and struggling to grasp lessons due to his young age, Prof. Gyampo persevered and was later moved to West Africa Secondary School in 1989.

He shared his story on Joy Learning's Career Trail programme, inspiring viewers with his determination and resilience.
