I was once a farm worker, a taxi driver and a cleaner – Bawumia

During a meeting with the creative sector on October 17, 2024, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia shared his personal experiences of hardship, resonating with the struggles of underprivileged youth.

In pidgin English, he recounted working as a farmhand, taxi driver, and cleaner, emphasizing his empathy for those suffering in Ghana.

Bawumia also highlighted his humanitarian efforts, including supporting lepers and street children. He assured attendees that through digitalization, today's youth can navigate life better without exploitation.

The NPP pledged tax incentives and improved support for the creative sector if elected in December.
