The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has refuted allegations that it is biased towards the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in organizing a presidential debate.
The IEA clarified that it had not engaged any political party or candidate before announcing the debate and intended to invite candidates individually.
The IEA emphasized that the debate aims to provide a platform for candidates to present their policies and counter those of their opponents, enabling informed choices by the electorate.
The IEA assured that it gives equal opportunities to all candidates and encourages participation to enhance Ghana's democracy.
