The controversy in the ambulance trial of former Deputy Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson has deepened as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presented evidence supporting the third accused, Richard Jakpa's, allegations against Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame.

Jakpa claimed Dame coaxed him to falsely testify against Forson.

The NDC released recordings allegedly proving this. The Attorney General's office denied the claims, asserting all actions were legal.

Critics have called for an investigation into Dame's conduct.

The Attorney General countered that Jakpa sought a plea bargain, which was rejected, maintaining his commitment to a fair trial.
