The Accra High Court has dismissed an injunction application against the #DumsorMustStop vigil after organizers amended their gathering point and route, rendering the case moot.
Initially, disagreement arose with the police over the protest's starting point near the Jubilee House.
However, organizers complied with police concerns and changed the venue to Revolution Square.
Selorm Dramani Dzramado, a convenor, explains the decision aligns with the Public Order Act. While awaiting court approval, he anticipates further discussions with the police.
The court's decision facilitates the revised plans for the vigil, emphasizing cooperation with lawful agencies in maintaining order.
