Interior Minister denies insulting moslems

Hon. Hackman Owusu ? Agyemang, the Minister for the Interior, has denied ever insulting Ghanaian Moslems.

In an interview with the DAILY GUIDE yesterday, he produced a copy of the recorded interview he had with Alhaji Bature of ?Alhaji & Alhaji fame,? on Radio Gold last Saturday.

The tape captures him as saying ?Eno ye Friday, majority of Moslems no, nnko eyi? meaning ? ?That?s Friday, majority of the people are Moslems, so they won?t go to..? according to him he was talking with another person who interjected into his interview with the radio station.

He, therefore, challenged the Lens and Searchlight newspapers to provide evidence of the tape recording which they claim they have on which he, Hackman, had insulted Moslems.
