NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia has accused Ghana's Interior Minister, Henry Quartey, of attempting to bribe Minority MPs by offering police recruitment slots to silence their opposition to the recruitment of 10,000 party foot soldiers into the police force.
Nketia, known as "General Mosquito," expressed concerns about the impact on peace ahead of the upcoming elections and urged transparency.
He claimed the NDC rejected the offer and has petitioned CHRAJ.
Despite the petition, the government continues the recruitment process.
Nketia emphasized that any recruitment must follow legal procedures, ensuring fairness for all qualified Ghanaians.
