Nana Akomea, Vice Chairman of the Bawumia 2024 Campaign team, has criticized the Democracy Hub protests held on September 20 for escalating into chaos and disrupting public order.
He commended the Ghana Police Service for showing restraint amid provocations and arresting protesters who, he claimed, engaged in unruly behavior.
Akomea questioned the protesters' actions, especially blocking the road near the 37 Military Hospital, and emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order during demonstrations.
Several protesters, including leader Oliver Barker-Vormawor, are currently facing prosecution for their conduct during the event.
