Special aide to former President John Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has posited that it is time Ghana considers reducing the age limit of presidential aspirants.
Joyce Bawah called for the revision of Article 62 of the constitution to suit persons interested in pursuing the presidential seat but are below the age of 40.

Joyce Bawah, ‘pondering’ over the age limitation placed on the qualification for President by the constitution, she made an inference to the 35-year-old Prime Minister, Sanna Marin, who has been serving Finland since 10 December 2019.
The politician who believes Ghana can follow suit noted that, “Yes, life they say, begins at forty (40) but all of us who are above 40 or in our 40s also know that life actually starts way before 40!”
