The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has kicked against the norm of rating governments during its first 100 days in office.

“On this I praise President Akufo-Addo for appointing into office his ministers of state before 100 days in government,” he said.
He believes lots of people aired their views based on comments made by the Vice- President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia few days ago marking the government’s 100 days in office announced that the Akufo-Addo administration has chalked 103 achievements in just 100 days.
Speaking in a one-on-one interview with UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’, Kwesi Pratt noted that “I wouldn’t have reduced airline fares if I was given the mandate to occupy such a position. Rather I will reduce commercial vehicle fares which are commonly used by needy individuals who need reduction in transport fares and not what have been done now.”
Discussing promises made by the New Patriotic party [NPP] during the 2016 election days, he indicated that leaders of the party know very well among themselves that they can never fulfill those numerous promises, but made them because it is a normal routine in Ghana among political parties.
“Indeed I will be very surprise to see them fulfill all of their promises,” he stated.
