J.B. murder: Suspect's parents ordered to appear in court

The Criminal Court 3 Division of the Accra High Court presided over by Justice George Boadi has ordered the parents of Daniel Asiedu (Sexy Dondon), who is standing trial for the murder of the late Abuawka North lawmaker J.B Dankwah-Adu and the medical officer who conducted the psychiatric examination on him, to appear in court to assist with the ongoing trial.

The court further directed the CID investigator to connect to the father and any of the accused person’s sisters by the close of work tomorrow, Tuesday, 4 June 2019.

The order follows remarks by Sexy Dondon to the effect that he does not know who his parents are.

The case has since been adjourned to 27 June 2019 at 11 a.m. for the medical officer to tender the report for onward interpretation.
