President Nana Akufo-Addo has bid farewell to the outgoing Iranian and Japanese Ambassadors, honoring their contributions to Ghana's relations with their respective countries.
At separate events on November 4, 2024, Akufo-Addo thanked Ambassador Bijam Gerami Nazoksara of Iran and Ambassador Mochizuki Hisanobu of Japan for strengthening ties with Ghana.
Nazoksara reflected on Ghana's cultural richness, while Hisanobu, after nearly a decade connected to Ghana, praised Foreign Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey's recent Commonwealth role.
Akufo-Addo highlighted the deep, longstanding bonds with both nations and expressed hope for peaceful resolutions in Iran-Israel relations.
