John Mahama will revive cotton industry and address other issues- Rashid Pelpuo

Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo, MP for Wa Central, has highlighted key commitments by NDC flagbearer John Mahama to boost the Northern Region’s economy.

Speaking at the NDC 2024 campaign launch in Tamale, Pelpuo noted Mahama’s pledge to revive the cotton industry, creating jobs and reducing poverty.

Mahama also plans to address Tamale’s water issues by expanding the water project and support entrepreneurship with funding from Exim Bank.

Additionally, Mahama aims to establish a modern abattoir to ensure hygienic meat processing and complete the Pwalugu multipurpose dam, enhancing local infrastructure and livelihoods.
