Joseph Ampomah Asiedu is new Assembly member for Sakaman

Joseph Ampomah Asiedu popularly known as Abashie is now the Assembly Member for the Sakaman electoral area.

He won the District Assembly and Unit Committee Elections in that area.

He defeated Hon Becky Hesse Lartey Who happened to be the incumbent Assembly Woman in the Sakaman Electoral Area.

Joseph by 581 votes, while Becky secured 415 votes and Georgina 151 votes.

Joseph Ampomah Asiedu’s victory for Sakaman has been described as a Victory for the Electoral Area since it’s the Assembly Member who lobbies for development.

His visibility and care for the members of his Community helped him to Win especially his massive education on the role of Assemblies in National Development.

Before becoming an Assemblymember, he has been with the Community members, organizing communal labor over the years creating employment opportunities and also helping in community development.

His Motto on Education was also a key factor that his constituents bought into and understood and gave him a massive Win.
