The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has confirmed that Kotoka International Airport (KIA) is unaffected by the global IT outage disrupting several airports and airlines worldwide.

While industries including airlines, banks, and retail are facing significant issues, KIA’s IT systems remain intact, and flights are operating on schedule.

The GACL acknowledged that some flight delays may occur due to the global nature of the glitch, but only one of the 24 international airlines at KIA has canceled flights.

GACL reassured the public of continued monitoring and updates as necessary.
