KTU staff to picket at SIC-FSL head office over unpaid GH¢9m provident fund

The Technical University Senior Administrators Association of Koforidua Technical University (KTU) plans to protest today at the SIC-FSL head office in Accra.

Over 500 KTU staff members, who entered a fund agreement with SIC in 2010, are seeking the return of funds that SIC has failed to disburse since 2022, impacting retirees, medical cases, and beneficiaries.

Association Chairman Daniel Mbimab explained that despite repeated requests, SIC has not refunded the money, leaving members and their families in financial distress, with some members facing severe health challenges.
