Keep vigilant watch on special voting, proxy – Rev. Owusu Bempah

Founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has cautioned political parties to be watchful on the day of special voting since it is a recipe for sparking chaos in the country.

He also directed the parties to extend the vigilance to the proxy voting which the electoral commission has introduced this time into the general elections.

Speaking to journalists on Sunday after church, Prophet Owusu-Bempah said there has been a secret meeting to overturn the outcome of the elections to the benefit of one party, and that may plunge this country into chaos if strict vigilance does not take place.

According to him, he knows people will view his statement with lenses in political colours but it is a direct prophecy from God to him and he cannot keep quiet about it.

He cautioned the electoral commission to be truthful and allow every electoral process to be transparent to avoid doom for the country because that is the vision he gets from God.

“We do not want to see the likes of Liberia and Cote D’Ivoire in Ghana but If care is not taken, the interest of one party to rule the country against the will of God will cause us our peace”, he revealed.

Prophet Bempah pleaded with political party leaders to speak to their supporters to live in harmony with other party members to foster peace in the nation before and after the elections.

He also appealed to Ghanaians not to describe his prophecy as causing fear and panic but to ponder over it because he was sure all men of God who pray for the country have seen the same vision.

Prophet Owusu- Bempah, further called on Christians and other people in other religious beliefs to pray fervently because what is ahead of the country is not really peace.
