Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah has called the Kumasi Kejetia project under John Mahama’s administration an “ill-thought project” that worsened congestion in the city.
He criticized its lack of parking space and stated that it was poorly planned.
Osei Mensah also defended the ongoing Central Market project, saying it will not cause congestion.
He dismissed NDC claims of building markets like Tafo and Atonsu, stating that the NPP had addressed issues at Atonsu.
The minister also challenged the NDC to point to any completed health projects, emphasizing NPP’s success in completing hospitals in the region.
Osei Mensah expressed confidence that the NPP would win 85% of the Ashanti Region's vote in the upcoming election.
