Kofi Adams, National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who has been at the centre of accusations for the party’s defeat has categorically denied hoarding campaign logistics in his house.
“Apart from the T-shirts I wore during the campaign, I don’t have any John Mahama T-shirts in my house. There is nothing of former President Mahama in my house because I learnt a lot of lessons from the 2012 campaigns. Wherever you go, you hear NDC members talking about Asiedu Nketia stealing this, accusing Kofi Adams of stealing that and so on. It is not true and I can tell you I don’t have any campaign materials in my house”, he revealed on Kumasi-based Abusua Fm.
He expressed surprise about the conduct of some party faithful who he expects to be patient while the Dr Kwesi Botchway committee does it work and find solutions to what pushed the party to opposition.
“Am surprised about the behaviour of some our party members. We are aware that any time a big party like this loses an election, there will be blame games. They are talking by heart. It is completely out of indiscipline”, he said.
Meanwhile Kwaku Boahene who is the Deputy National Communications Officer of the NDC has revealed that Kofi Adams has been pushing for Mahama’s comeback agenda because because he is alleged to have diverted campaign cash meant for the grassroots and the communication organ of the Party.
“So all the Mahama’s noisemaking is a covered up strategy by Kofi Adams”, he alleged.
He entreat arty members to ignore the 2020 comeback tantrums by Kofi Adams saying that in his view, it will be extremely difficult for Ghanaians to accept John Mahama back at the President in 2020 because of his Incompetence tag.
