Kumasi: Woman stabs husband to death over infidelity allegations at Abuakwa-Abakomadi

In a tragic incident at Abuakwa-Abakomadi in the Ashanti Region, 29-year-old Bernice Asantewaa allegedly fatally stabbed her husband, Kofi Antwi, 35, following a confrontation over infidelity.

According to Kofi's brother, Joseph Acheampong, the altercation occurred on October 31, 2024, after Kofi returned from a week-long business trip.

Despite family advice to leave the relationship due to ongoing marital issues, Kofi chose to stay.

Both individuals reportedly inflicted injuries on each other during the conflict, but Kofi later succumbed to his wounds.

Bernice is receiving treatment at Suntreso Government Hospital, while Kofi's body is at Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital pending an autopsy.
