Youth from the Kwahu Traditional area have demanded action against Paramount Chief Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II following his resignation as Chair of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) amid extortion allegations.
Clad in red and black, they presented a petition to the Queen Mother, emphasizing that the chief's misconduct has tarnished the community's reputation.
The Bank of Ghana directed his resignation due to alleged abuse of office involving a GHâµ2 million extortion claim.
The youth warned of further action if their concerns are not addressed promptly, stressing the need to protect the dignity of the chieftaincy.
