Speakers who are expected to join the virtual forum include, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast, Most Rev Charles Palmer-Buckle, Senior Economist Kwame Pianim and President of the Association of Ghana Industries, Dr Yaw Adu Gyamfi.
The Chief Executive Officer of Exim Bank Ghana Mr Lawrence Agyinsam as well as the President of the National Union of Ghana Students, Isaac Jay Hyde are also expected to contribute during the forum.
Under the presidency of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, there has been a deliberate drive to move Ghana beyond dependence on foreign aid. Today’s virtual forum put together by the Senior Ministers office which plays a vital role in the implementation of the policy is expected to assess how the country can still pursue the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
