While the Majority in Parliament applauded the President for presenting the true state of the nation, the minority disagreed saying that the President failed to acknowledge the entire truth but chose to dwell solely on the negative aspects.

Minority Leader Haruna Iddrissu briefed pressmen on the Minority's version of the State of the Nation Address in parliament.
