The first day of registration for the National Identification card recorded low turnout at most centres in Accra.

Some centres visited by GhanaWeb had recorded less than 50 registration as at 1pm on Monday.

Coordinating Registration Officer at the Mataheko Old Faith centre, Ebenezer Asare Nti, speaking to the news team said only 20 people had registered for the card as at midday.
