Mahama: My administration will reclaim wealth stolen through corrupt means

John Dramani Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, has vowed to collaborate with relevant authorities to recover assets and funds obtained through corruption if elected in the December 7 elections.

He criticised the Akufo-Addo administration for increasing corruption and lack of fiscal discipline.

Citing former Sanitation Minister Cecilia Dapaah’s case of over $1 million stolen from her home, Mahama promised in a live broadcast to work with both local and international anti-corruption partners to reclaim unlawfully acquired taxpayer money.

He condemned the extravagant lifestyles of current officials amid the nation's socio-economic struggles.
