Mahama announces juicy package for teachers, nurses

John Mahama, the NDC's flagbearer, has reaffirmed his pledge to abolish the teachers' licensure exams, integrating the licensing process into final-year exams if elected on December 7.

He also introduced the "Teacher Dabr3" Project, aimed at providing accommodation for teachers at their schools, ensuring all new school projects include housing.

Additionally, Mahama promised a 20% basic salary allowance for teachers and health workers in rural areas, expanded infrastructure for prompt employment, and support for teachers to own vehicles through flexible payment plans in partnership with unions and banks.
