Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Allotey Jacobs has said that President Mahama is a lion king.
The fire brand politician in an interview with host of Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Kwame Tutu said, if you don't have the face of a lion, you cannot be the president of Ghana.
He said, as for Cape Coast North and South, ''it is forever for the NDC and nothing will change the minds of the people of Cape Coast North and South.''
He stated that this is just garnishing. The whole program in Cape Coast was to garnish the victory of the NDC in both constituencies, he added.
According to him, the NDC has not only captured Cape Coast North and South but all the constituencies.
He expressed strong optimism that the NDC will win 20 out of the 23 constituencies in the upcoming parliamentary polls.
Allotey Jacobs explained that the campaign launch submerged the entire Central region because they stamped their authority as a party on the region and that is why the NPP is crying foul. ''They are crying blood and blood is oozing out of their eyes. I tell you, this is not about psychological effect but it has dampen the spirit of the NPP in the Central region and as a result, they go about doing mischief. But God is on our side. This is because, we have a leader who is a lion king. I tell you, if you do not have the face of a lion, you can never be president.''
He said for the first time in the history of Ghana, President Mahama wore a military uniform to signify his respect for the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) because he is the Commander-In-Chief.
''Look at him, look at his face, look at his walks; he is a lion king...I want journalists in Ghana to go and interrogate this matter and find out what we mean by a lion king...And when the lion king roars in the forest, it becomes silent, and the elephant runs for cover. When the lion king roars, all the animals are kept to sleep. The lion king yesterday roared, and look at him, an innocent face surrounded by the glory of God.''
