Mahama won’t debate Bawumia because ‘he’s a liar’ – Asiedu Nketia

NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia has rejected the idea of John Mahama debating NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 elections.

He called it a "worthless exercise," citing Bawumia's alleged dishonesty and past unfulfilled promises as reasons. Despite Bawumia's challenge for a debate on the economy and governance, Asiedu Nketia advised Mahama not to engage, arguing it would only lend credibility to Bawumia's questionable claims.

The NDC prefers not to waste time on a debate they believe won't benefit Ghanaians.
