Man lynched by friends after argument over GH₵200 at Kasoa Ofaakor

Kwabena Mensah, 30, has been lynched by friends at Kasoa Ofaakor in the Central Region after an argument over GH₵200.

Kwabena and his friends, Asafo members, had earlier demanded GH₵7,000 from an estate developer for violating a noise ban.

The dispute escalated when Kwabena confronted his friends for his share of the money. Identified attackers, "Beards" and "Baddest Shatta," attacked him with stones and sticks while they were drinking.

Kwabena's brother, Edem Saglo, who was also attacked, was resuscitated but found Kwabena in a critical state. Kwabena died after being rushed to the hospital.

The suspects are at large, and the case is under investigation by Kasoa Ofaako District Police.
