The Minority in Parliament has formally requested a meeting with the Ghana Police Service to plan for a second #OccupyBoG demonstration, aimed at demanding the resignation of the Bank of Ghana's Governor and deputies.

Scheduled for the coming weeks, the protest seeks to address what the Minority describes as “gross mismanagement” of the economy by the central bank.

In a petition dated August 12, Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson emphasized the importance of a peaceful demonstration and requested police cooperation to ensure safety and order.

The Minority aims to collaborate with law enforcement to agree on protest details and prevent disruptions.
