The Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana (MOWAG) has issued a warning to the government, threatening a nationwide strike in November if their grievances are not addressed.

The association seeks urgent improvements in wages, working conditions, and access to personal protective equipment (PPE), issues that have lingered since 2019.

General Secretary Richard Kofi Jordan expressed frustration over the government's delay in negotiations, accusing them of requesting unnecessary data to stall progress.

He stated that if their demands are not met by the end of October, MOWAG will proceed with the strike, emphasizing the urgent need for action.
