Ghanaian Muslims who will be embarking on 2017 Hajj pilgrimage have been assured of quality and juicy services from the Hajj Board.

He said pilgrims' feeding and accommodation among other needs have already been arranged in advance, stressing that, there will be no cause for alarm.
“The team together with my boss Sheikh I.C Quaye have been able to work on accommodation… I can assure you that even the tent that the pilgrims are going to sleep in are air-conditioned and there’s no way we’ll encounter any problem,” he assured.
Alhaji Raman Zak also disclosed that a total of 6,200 pilgrims are expected to embark on this year's pilgrimage to Mecca, the number being an increase from the usual 5,000 quota for Ghana.
“Sheikh I.C Quaye travelled to Saudi Arabia for a conference on this year’s Hajj and was able to convince the authorities to raise the number which they did. Previously the quota for Ghana was just about 5000 pilgrims every year but now it’s been increased to 6,200,” he revealed.
