Seji Saji, Deputy National Coordinator of NADMO, has urgently called for national action to address severe coastal erosion at Keta in the Volta Region.
On Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Saji stressed that the crisis exceeds NADMO’s mandate and requires a comprehensive national response.
He noted that while there have been efforts to build sea defenses, they are insufficient, and the erosion problem has persisted for decades.
Saji urged that the findings of the Ghana Geological Survey Authority be used to prompt immediate action to protect Ghana’s coastline from further damage.
