NAGRAT issues 5-day ultimatum to Akwamuman SHS over withheld teachers’ salaries

The Ghana National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) has given a five-day ultimatum to the Asuogyaman Education Directorate and the Akwamuman SHS headmaster to reinstate withheld salaries for teachers who missed a Professional Learning Community (PLC) session.

NAGRAT claims the salary suspension, enforced by Headmaster Anim-Addo Asuoko, oversteps Ghana Education Service rules and undermines teacher morale.

The association insists that PLC attendance should not affect teacher salaries and urges prompt action, warning of further measures if the issue is unresolved.
