Embattled Menzgold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah known as NAM1, has dropped a bombshell from Dubai, where he is behind bars.

Nana Appiah Mensah has expressed worry over how the government is treating him.

According to NAM1, he is ready to sit down with the government regarding Menzgold.

He also revealed that, he has suffered for months but he is leaving no stone unturned as he is ready to make Menzgold customers happy.

NAM1 made this known via his official Instagram handle.

He wrote, “We have communicated to government. Inasmuch as I have suffered many months & continue to suffer severe unjustifiable pains behind bars now, I am willingly letting go of the past in the interest of you the many fellow citizens. We are also engaged in & committed to productive negotiations to resolve the pending issues related to Menzgold, in a manner that serves the best interest of government & all customers as soon as possible.”

The Menzgold saga is one that brought Ghana to a stand still few months ago after the gold dealership firm was asked to close down.

The Security and Exchange Commission noted that Menzgold was operating without some necessary licenses.

After the SEC order resulted in Menzgold shutting down, investors who had their monies with the firm got agitated.

It has been over six months and Menzgold customers have still not been able to retrieve their money from the firm amid countless promises of refund.
