Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, MP for Ellembelle, criticized NPP running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) for comparing President Nana Akufo-Addo's achievements to Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
NAPO claimed Akufo-Addo had developed Ghana more than any president since independence.
Buah called this comparison "misguided and insulting," emphasizing Nkrumah's unmatched contributions to Ghana's independence and development.
He accused Akufo-Addo's administration of economic mismanagement and demanded NAPO apologize for attempting to belittle Nkrumah’s legacy.
Buah stated that Nkrumah’s accomplishments are indisputable and warned against attempts to rewrite Ghana’s history.
