NAPO’s response on ‘dumsor’ an insult to Ghanaians – Edward Bawa

Edward Bawa, MP for Bongo, has accused Energy Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) of insulting Ghanaians' intelligence with his comments on the power situation.

Despite months of intermittent power outages, Dr. Prempeh attributed the issues to localized outages due to overloaded transformers, not load-shedding by ECG.

Bawa, ranking member on Parliament's Energy Committee, criticized the minister's lack of transparency and pattern of insulting Ghanaians' intelligence.

He expressed discontent with the minister's approach, stating that his responses were an insult to Ghanaians.
