Former President John Dramani Mahama has noted that the National Democratic Congress( NDC) is working tirelessly by interacting with various social groupings so as to develop tailor-made solutions for problems that confront them.
The former President made this known when the leadership of the NDC met with executives of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches (GPCC) as part of the party’s consultative meetings with stakeholders to enable it compose a manifesto and campaign message for the 2020 elections.
This it hopes to do through Policy Working Groups that will collate information from various economic and social groupings, John Mahama said.
At the meeting, the leadership of the party led by the Former President discussed issues of “corruption, a national development agenda, education, the Electoral Commission, security and the banking and financial sector.”
President of the GPCC, Bishop SM Mensah assured the NDC that the “church and its leaders will continue to be interested in the development of the country, advising politicians to put national interest ahead of party interest.
