Evans Nimako, Director of Elections and Research for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for defying the Electoral Commission's (EC) directive to bar political party representatives from monitoring the ongoing vote transfer exercise.
The EC's decision aims to prevent clashes and maintain order, but the NDC claims this could lead to gerrymandering and undermine the electoral process's integrity.
Nimako emphasized the importance of adhering to the EC's directive to ensure smooth and transparent elections, arguing that the NPP has consistently won elections fairly, regardless of EC officials.
He urged all parties to comply to avoid unnecessary tension and confusion.
