NDC, stakeholders insist on forensic audit of voter’s register

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), alongside Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), labor unions, and religious groups, is demanding a forensic audit of the 2024 Provisional Voter’s Register to ensure a transparent election.

They want an independent audit of the register and the IT systems used for voter registration, urging the creation of a joint task force involving the Electoral Commission, political parties, and independent experts.

The NDC also recommends re-exhibiting the voter’s register for verification, a public awareness campaign, and international observers to monitor the audit process.

They believe these reforms are crucial for credible elections.
