The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended Kpeli Worlase, a parliamentary aspirant, for actions detrimental to the party’s interests.
The suspension follows reports of Worlase campaigning against the party’s parliamentary candidate in the Afram Plains North constituency.
The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) reviewed the allegations during a meeting on July 23, 2024, and suspended Worlase in accordance with Article 48 of the party’s constitution.
His case has been referred to the National Disciplinary Committee for further investigation. Worlase is required to attend a hearing, and the committee’s findings will be submitted to the FEC for final action.
