The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame of breaching legal professional conduct by allegedly coercing an accused person to incriminate the Minority Leader in an ongoing trial.
The A-G's department denies the allegation, citing lawful engagement with the accused for a plea bargain.
Despite denials, the NDC has threatened to report the matter to the General Legal Council's disciplinary committee, citing a breach of legal ethics.
NDC's National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, criticized Dame's conduct, describing it as unbecoming of a legal professional and alleging witness tampering, signaling potential legal action.
