The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has outlined a comprehensive job creation plan for a potential John Mahama presidency, targeting 1.7 million jobs between 2025 and 2029.

The plan aims to address rising unemployment and absorb 300,000 new job seekers annually while reducing current unemployment levels by 120,000 each year.

Their strategy, called MAN-UP-C, includes modernizing employment laws, reorienting mindsets, establishing a National Employment Trust, ensuring inclusivity, and coordinating efforts via a high-level committee.

The NDC criticized the ruling party’s handling of employment, promising to focus on job creation and economic recovery.
