The National Labour Commission has advised the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) to attend a meeting on July 10 after they missed a meeting on July 3 due to their strike.
CLOGSAG raised concerns about the composition of the committee addressing their issues, leading to their absence.
Executive Secretary of NLC, Ofosu Asamoah, stated that the panel's composition is under review and urged CLOGSAG to attend the next meeting.
The ministries involved have responded, and the commission referenced sections 136 and 178 of the Labour Act, scheduling the new meeting and calling for an end to the strike.
