Atta Akyea, speaking on JoyNews, emphasized the importance of solar energy as a key pillar of the NPP’s manifesto, noting that the private sector would play a crucial role in the initiative.

He argued that the government would create an investment-friendly environment for the private sector to support the project.

However, Edward Bawa criticized the plan, calling it unrealistic. He pointed out the technical challenges of integrating solar power into the system, citing its intermittent nature and the financial difficulties involved.
