NPP sets up documents vetting committee ahead of elections

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has formed a nine-member committee to ensure that all parliamentary candidates meet Electoral Commission (EC) requirements for filing nominations.

Chaired by Mr. Frank Davies, the committee includes Mr. Gary Nimako, Madam Sophia Korkor, Madam Nana Adjoa Adobea Asante, Hon. O. B. Amoah, Hon. Ben Abdallah, Madam Joyce Opoku Boateng, Mr. Evans Nimako, and Mr. Michael Kwadwo Nketiah.

Their responsibilities include verifying candidates' documents, ensuring compliance with EC regulations, and addressing any issues.

General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong expressed confidence in the committee's ability to field qualified candidates, as their work begins on July 23, 2024.
