NPP to engage Cynthia Morrison over her decision to go Independent

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) plans to engage with Cynthia Morrison, the current MP for Agona West, after she announced her independent candidacy for the 2024 election.

Morrison decided to run independently after losing the NPP parliamentary primaries, emphasizing her commitment to the development of Agona West.

NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong stressed the party's focus on unity and its goal to "break the eight," meaning to extend their rule beyond the usual two terms.

The NPP aims to bring all members, including independent candidates, back into the party fold.
